Winter Rant

Winter is definitely here on the East Coast. And while it may feel like the middle of winter...it definitely doesn't look like it. Maybe it's just me but winter isn't WINTER with out the SNOW! Let's just hope it starts snowing soon cause I don't know how much longer I can take looking at all the bare branches and the gray skies.
...Well that's the end of my rant for today. Have a busy weekend coming  up but I'm definitely going to make some time to take pictures!

Until next time...

So Hectic...

Its been a while since my first post. I wanted to make myself post at least twice a week but life has been so hectic lately between work, classes, and teaching and all the other stuff. I thought that taking a semester off from college would make life a little bit easier but ... sigh... it hasn't. In fact, I think I have a lot more responsibility now then ever. I'm working for a magazine as a news editor, I take Quranic study classes online twice a week, I have to teach middle schoolers at our community gatherings on Friday (word of advice...don't teach 11-12 year olds w/out caffeine), and try to make time to do housework and catch up with friends. It's absolutely crazy!Hopefully, though, after December is finished I'll have more time.

Speaking of December...I wish it would snow already! I love the winter time; most of my friends think I'm wired considering I grew up in Southern California, but I don't know....there's something so magical about the winter time. Not to mention the Winter Fashions! I love shopping in the winter...coats, boots, sweaters... did I mention COATS!!

I'll leave you with this beautiful picture from Peruvian Connection (http://www.peruvianconnection.com/product/womens+coats+jackets/754931-picture-perfect+coat.do)
It just looks so romantic...and the coat really is so vintage chic!

The First of Many

This is my first time doing anything of the sort...but I thought I'd finally give blogging a try. I mean I am on here almost all the time, so why not? This blog will be a journal of sorts. A place to archive my daily life through writing, photographs, quotes, and all that inspires me.  So since this is a new experience and all, I thought it was fitting to start with one of my favorite quotes...
"You have to leave the city of your comfort
and go into the wilderness of your intuition.
What you'll discover will be wonderful.
What you'll discover will be yourself."
                                                      - Alan Alda
